to risk something

Why don't you take a chance and move forward to make the best use of your ability?

to remove oneself from a situation

I decided to take a step back from my manager when I found him egomaniac.

• egomaniac = 병적[극단적]으로 자기 중심적인 사람; 극단적으로 자존심이 강한 사람

3. a clean break

완전히 그만둔 상태
a completed and sudden separation from something

Vacation is a good way of being a clean break that makes people vivid and energetic.
