이삭이 그랄에서 우물을 파서 물을 얻었는데 거기 유목민들이 그 때마다 "내 놔" 라고 했다. 이삭은 싸우지 않고 다른 곳에 가서 우물을 팠고 거기서도 물이 나왔다. 거기서 이삭은 그 우물의 이름을 '''르호봇''' 이라고 했다. 르호봇은 '''여호와께서 넓은 곳을 주셨으며 그 땅에서 형통할 것이다'''는 뜻이다.
이삭이 그랄의 목동들과 우물 때문에 싸웠다면 그가 혹여라도 우물을 차지했더나로 인생의 낭비가 많았을 것이다. 그리고 무엇보다 '''르호봇'''의 은혜가 없었을 것이다. 하나님의 은혜가 아니라 '''스스로의 힘으로 먹고 사는 인생'''이 되었을지도 모른다.
(내 생각)
인생에서 매 순간 하나님께 기도하며 걸어가야 한다. 그리하면 그 여정 중에 어려움 혹은 억울한 일을 겪더라도 내가 혈기로 맞서기 보다는 하나님께 기도하며 내 입술과 행동을 주장하여 달라고 기도할 수 있지 않을까? 평소에 올바른 길을 걸을 수 있도록 저를 인도해주세요.
