인증 구분

1 소개

인증의 종류는 일반적으로 세 가지로 분류된다. 상이한 Type의 인증 체계가 2개 이상 사용되었을 때 다중인증(Multifactor Authentication, MFA)이라고 부른다. MFA에 대한 설명은 아래를 참고하라.

2 Type 1 인증

지식 기반의 인증으로 가장 많이 이용되는 인증방식으로 'something you know'를 의미한다. 암호, PIN 등이 여기에 해당한다.

3 Type 2 인증

소유 기반의 인증방식으로 'something you have'를 의미한다. 스마트카드, 토큰 등이 여기에 해당한다.

4 Type 3 인증

존재 기반의 인증방식으로 'something you are'를 의미한다. 홍채, 지문 등이 여기에 해당한다.
